Well, I finally sat down to record a director’s commentary for our first episode “Disunity”, which is now being made available as part of the Star Trek: Unity podcast. And with any director’s commentary, you’ll get to hear what were my thoughts and what I wanted to accomplish in how I directed this episode. Of course, to add a little something extra to this commentary, I also drop a couple of hints about what you can expect to hear in our next episode. (Don’t ya just love those carrot sticks?)

Of course, this release marks only the beginning for what we hope to be many fun and interesting goodies about our project, including some interesting news in regards to our animated series. When these will be released, well, everything has it’s time and place.

So, until then, I hope you enjoy my commentary and listening to what I have to say about my first foray into creating a new Trek work. To checkout this latest podcast, you can find our podcast listed on most of the podcast directories found out there, or just visit our feed directly by clicking on this link – “Listen to our podcast“.

Well, we finally got our first audio episode, “Disunity”, added onto our new podcast feed for our series. Already, this feed can be found on many of the podcast directories out there. All you need to do is do a search for “Star Trek Unity” and there’s a good chance you’ll find us. If not, you can simply add this feed into your RSS feeder and subscribe to it -

If you’d like to add this feed to iTunes (we’re not yet listed in their podcast directory. These things take time, ya know), here’s how you can do that manually -

  1. Open iTunes and from the taskbar, select the “Advanced” menu.
  2. In this pop-down menu, you’ll see the option “Subscribe to Podcast”. Click on this option.
  3. A new pop-up box will appear with “URL:” above the text box.
  4. Inside the text box, paste this feed – http://feeds.feedburner.com/StarTrekUnity
  5. This will add our podcast to your library.

We’re hoping to add some additional content to this feed soon, probably sometime in the next 2 weeks or so. Of course, this is all dependent on how pre-production work proceeds on Episode 2 of our series. It’s that priorities, thing.
